Recently I bought a 3ds on ebay, that was broekn, from the pictures it looked like it was just the hinge, so I went ahead and got it, and for $30, it wasn't too much of a loss. Well It gets here and There are so many broken ribbons idk what to do. so I pulled the good parts aside which happened to be the motherboard, what I think is the infarred sensor, the analog stick, buttons, lower screen, and wireless card. Not much I could do. so I put the bad parts in a bin and looked around and purchased another which the motherboard was bad, I thought it'd be an easy swap. However, when I looked closer at the upper screen ribbon cable slot, I noticed the white clip was broken, and to fix it the person had very badly superglued the ribbon cable, and was appearantly axious and put it back together, only to have the cable slip and get superglued out side of the slot. I was able to get the ribbon cable off, but there is still a massive pile of super glue preventing me from inserting the upper screen into the motherboard. I inspected the bad motherboard and there is a little gold dot labled TP9 which is fried, and there was some pink stuff around splattered in a few places, but only TP9 looked affected. This led me to my two questions. 1. is it possible to repair the ribbon cable slot? 2. If not is there a way to repair the TP9 (unknown what it is called)? So I wanted to begin playing Mario&Luigi Partner's in Time again and I put it in my 2DS but it is not reading the game at all.  I can't select it to start with?  Anything I should do?

Hello. I was playing my copy of Pokemon Y a couple of days ago and suddenly it just stopped showing up on the home page of my 3DS. I've tried other games and they work althought X almost did the same thing but started working again. I have an American 3DS XL and American Pokemon X/Y. Any help would be greately appreciated thank you.

     I have downloaded Pokemon X on the eShop and have downloaded it onto 2 different SD cards because i wanted to replay the game without reseting my previous game, but when i put in my old SD card and try to load the game, i get a message about how the saved data is not compatible with this version, and cannot be used. it referred me to the manual, but i was unable to find any useful infomation about this issue.

 

     If anyone can help me with this, i would greatly appreciate it

Alright so instead of making you read a whole lot of a text let me just sum up my dilemma, my 3ds screen (top) is cracked (Question 1). It is internally cracked (cant feel any rigid lines) and its not physical, is that under warranty? (Question 2). Could someone give me info on nintendo's repair number(s)/email(s)? (Question 3).  My pin code seems to "not have been entered into nintendo's system, is this going to make my repair difficult and if so how? (And finally question 3). ive made a terrible mistake i was going to choose the 3DS title Donkey Kong Contry Returns 3D but i was not paying attention and chose NES Remix for the Wii U (i dont own a Wii U system) and went throught the entire process without notice till i was too late and made the order now i dont know what to do...

     I have purchased a 2ds second hand, and I want to format it and reset it to the factory settings. But my issue is, is that it came with Pokemon X on the SD card, but when I try to format the system it says that the data on the SD card will me unusable. Will I be able to get the Pokemon game again?

I just but a 3ds xl for my kid. I update the software. It keep saying in french, (Le logiciel a été arrêté car une erreur est survenue. La console va redémarrer.) Ding that with Face Raiders, Pokémon y and Mariokart7. That mean all the game that I have.And its the 3ds with Yoshi on top so I don't want to schange it. Anyone can help. Pls

I saw some time ago that they would implement something like this, but never heard about it again.

I'm living in Japan right now and I have an american 3DS. I have no access to US Eshop cards but I'm not sure if I would be able to use the japanese carss if I buy them, would be convenient if I was able to do so. I would appreciate if anyone would confirm this to me.

Hola mi nombre es Henry acaba de realizar un pago para comprar un juego en la tienda de 3ds exactamente pokemon Y meti los datos d la tarjeta correctamente y despues de realizar la transaccion me sale que no se puede pagar con la tarjeta que inserte pero de mi cuenta de banco me sale que acaba de pagar verifiquen no quisiera perder mi dinero.

I don't remember if there was or not and how long it lasted. I also don't know (if there is a trial) when it activated when I downloaded the app from the eShop or if it automatically started once I opened the app for the first time. Was the trial only available for a certain period as soon as the app launched?

My 3DS is not working correctly with several games.

This morning while trying to play Shin Megami Tensei IV on my 3DS and tried loading a save it would just stay at the screen unresponsive but the music would still play. Going to a new game will get to the name entry screen but then the same thing happens. At first I thought it was my game card had became damaged somehow but when tested in my brother's 3ds it would work fine. Tested out a few more games and found the following problems.

 

Legend of Zelda : A link between worlds - It will act like you have the R button held down for the shield while you are playing unless you hold down the Lbutton. Devil Survivor Overclocked - It will continuously scroll down on the area select screen.

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate - Takes longer to load and save.

 

I have tested other games and they work fine so far, still have other games that I need to test. Also when you hold the power button to quit a game and it asks you to shut the system down or hit the home button to go to the main menu the home button will not work on that screen anymore but will still work everywhere else.

 

Also if you go to manual for a game or program it automatically scrolls  down to the very bottom and the only button that will respond is the  home button.

I know the eshop has been busy for awhile now and I wasn't able to download anything ever since the club nintendo rewards were released, but is the eshop still down? I want to download the DLC I purchased from Fire Emblem Awakening but whenever I do it stops. After many tries this week the farthest it got to was 10%. I tested the download speed of something that isn't a DLC by deleting a small DSi game off my 3DS and tried redownloading it and it stops at 2%... I know my internet isn't messed up and my settings are correct because last week I was able to download a game from the eshop.

 

I have also already tried going somewhere else like a neighbor's house or to a place with wi-fi like starbucks. I just assume the server for DLC and all other downloads are overflowed with traffic.

Hello - I've been playing Kirby: Triple Deluxe which was purchased from the 3DS eShop and the after finishing Level 3/Stage 3, the screen blacks out and presents the following message:

 

 

This problem is repeatable and frankly frustrating, since there doesn't seem to be any way to progress past this point in the game. Has anyone else experienced this problem and if so, can you offer any troubleshooting tips to help?

So i just turned on my Pokemon Black 2 after quite a while since i just purchased a pokemon bank and wanted to transfer all my pokemon to Pokemon X. As i was doing so i noticed i was missing a few pokemon. Now im not entirely sure where they have gone as they are not in the boxes nor in my party nor are they at the day care house. I thought maybe they might be in the GTS system because i remember putting up something for trade. But now that i cannot connect to the GTS, i cannot check and find out whether my pokemon were there or not. I wanted to ask is it possible that my pokemon are now lost when they shut down the GTS system in black 2. If yes then is nintendo going to help me get these pokemon back. I have lost an Azelf Cressilia and a Volcarana. Not something im too happy about. Please verify and tell me what do i do. I really dont want to play the game all over again for those three legendaries since they are all the way at the end.

So, every time I use my camera, its this weird pinkish purple color and it wont go away! Its so hard to take a nice photo.... but anyway, I really wanna know what caused it, and how to fix it. Thanks!

Hello,whenever I try to connect to my internet it shows me this error code.I tried everything like power cycle,turning off the fire wall,etc.I can easily connect to the internet browser but I can use the internet on 3ds softwares.Any help guys?

Earlier this evening I got a sudden craving to play one of my favorite digimon games, Digimon World: Dusk. The game started up just fine and everything earlier and I was enjoying playing with it. I eventually directed my attention elsewhere and ended up closing the 3DS when I heard a strange noise. I eventually was able to pinpoint the noise coming from my XL. I picked it up and held it up to my ear and it was my game still playing fragments of the music while in sleep mode. I opened it, the game resumed like normal, then closed it, the noise persisted. I could easily stop the noise by turning down the volume but this concerned me and I ended up saving and shutting down the game. Now just five minutes ago I tried playing it and it won't start! The 3DS detects the game, that's not the issue, but when I start it up the screen goes a blank white then black. Not like off black, but like backlight black. I've tested my 3DS with a 3DS game to see if it was the system but it works fine. I love this game, is it broken? It was just working a few hours ago, how do I fix this? And before anyone asks the game is not counterfeit, I bought it at GameStop years ago. I own one of the newer Pikachu 3DS XLs. Any help is dearly appreciated. This game is so hard to find nowadays and I really don't wanna end up having to shell out a lot of cash for another one... Also...I'm under the impression that if I do end up having to send this system in for repairs that I will not get the Pikachu 3DS back because they do not have the necessary parts to replace it...is this true? I would really prefer to keep the XLs design. I waited outside of Target for three hours to get it.

 

EDIT: My fiance restarted my 3DS and it seems to be working fine now. Dunno why it was acting like that but it must have been a hiccup or something. I'm gonna go ahead and keep this up just in case anyone else is having simiar problems. If anyone wants me to delete this thread please let me know. I just thought it might be nice and helpful to keep it up.

I keep getting errors when I try to connect to Nintendo Eshop. I just charged like, 200$ for it so I do not want it flunking out on me.

 

It seems like the servers are going fine at the moment when I checked the nintenso servers (http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/network/en_na/network_status.jsp), but I keep getting 005-4270 and at times 005-4222 and 022-5548 as the error code and it's very erratic.

 

I just recently switched my SDHC card but honestly that doesn't seem like it's supposed to be the problem since I followed exactly nintendo's guide when I switched the cards. The connection's been very erratic for me today, but I continue to have excellent wifi at home.

 

Are any other people having the same issue as I do? Or is it just me? Are there any solutions for this? I turned off and on my 2ds several times as per recommnded by Nintendo and it seems to be not working.
