My son has a 2DS that no longer works correctly. I have an extended warranty on the 2DS and am going to send it in for a credit. I have purchased a 3DS XL to replace it. I was told and have seen online that I can transfer the data from the 2DS to the 3DS XL.
When transferring data from a 2DS to a 3DS XL, will all of the data be transferred, or will there be any data that is not? For example, will street pass data and street pass Mii Plaza data be transferred?
Also, the 3DS XL I purchased has New Super Mario Bros. 2 pre-installed. Will that cause any problems with transferring the the data from the 2DS to this 3DS XL?
