Transferring from a 3DS to a 3DS XL shortly after having transferred from said 3DS XL to a New 3DS XL?

I recently purchased a new Hyrule Gold New 3DS system for myself.

I successfully transferred my information from my old 3DS XL to my new New 3DS XL. However, I would also like have my old 3DS XL be given as an uprade to my girlfriend. Sadly, when I try to transfer her 3DS (non XL) data to my old 3DS Xl, I get an error that the unit cannot be involved in another transfer for 7 days. We are going on vacation today and I was hoping to allow her to use the new (to her) XL system in replace of her 3DS.

Since I already transferred out of the old XL, and it's a 3DS non-XL transferring in is there a way to waive the 7 day wait since the NNID is coming from a 3DS into the XL?
