New 3DS - forced shutdown

I was travelling with my new 3DS XL in sleep mode (screen closed, game still on). When I arrived at my destination, I opened the lid to continue my game but an error message popped up onto the screen stating the system encountered an error and needs to be turned off and turned back on. The only way to turn it off was to hold down the power button for a few seconds. When I turned it back on and tried downloading something from the Nintendo store, it stated my NNID had to be linked to my 3DS. I had already linked my NNID when I purchased the new XL back in February (and had no problems before the forced shutdown). When I went through the process this time trying to use my existing ID, it states my ID is already linked with another member of the 3DS family...which is the one I hold in my hands and is trying to say that it isn't!... All my info on the 3DS system appears correct, including my purchase history in the Nintendo store but my NNID is no longer linked and won't allow me to use my already existing one (which is also linked to my Wii U and the Nintendo site).

 

How do I fix this and re-link my NNID to my 3DS XL?

How long will it take for Nintendo to email me about unlinking my NNID on my old 3DS?

So Tuesday night I called Nintendo about my NNID still being on my old 3DS XL despite formatting the system, and gave them all the info so that they could unlink it and told me that I was gonna get an email about when I can link it to my New 3DS XL. I'm not sure if they told me how long it would take but I just want to know how long it takes cause it is pretty boring without some of the games I downloaded.

Changing SD cards and Pokemon shuffle/Rumble world.

In the electronic manual of both Pokemon Shuffle and Pokemon Rumble World, it says that the save data cannot be read if the data on the SD card is overwritten by those on the computer.

However, will anything happen to the save data of these two if I copy all the data to a new SD card? Can the data still be read? Do I have to copy the data from one SD to another directly or the data can stay on the computer for a while?

Can't complete repair request for 2ds

So as I plugged in my 2ds that I recently bought I noticed that the charging port is in crooked so the plug doesnt go in correctly. Before that I noticed there are fibers trapped under the screen as well that kinda gets in the way of gameplay but I  didn't really care too much. Figured that if I get the port repaired I should get the screen repaired too. Sadly I cant though because everytime I try to request a repair the site wont load once I hit repair details. My 2ds is still under warranty since I just bought it brand new. hellp?

New Nintendo 3DS XL/LL HELP!!!

Hello, I have had the "New Nintendo 3DS XL/LL" for about 2 months now. Recently I started having problems with it. When I go on the Nintendo eShop and try to download a game or demo or anything for that matter I get error code 007-6034 . Even when trying the new update for Mii Plaza I get the error code 009-6034. I thought that maybe something was wrong with my internet but I do have a second 3DS and it's working just fine. I can download, update and do everything else normal on my second 3DS. I can still play games normally on the "New 3DS" and get online and everything. I just can't update or download anything without an error message. I just don't know what to do . If anyone knows anything that could help me please let me know! I would really appreciate it.  Thank You!

How can I recover just my Street Pass Plaza data?

Hello!

I transferred data between 3DS to New 3DS XL back in February,but I lost my save data. It was still on the old SD card, and I found a way transfer the data over for all my games except my Street Pass Plaza titles. My data for the Miis was still there, and I was able to re-download the games. I even still have all of the hats I bought. But I lost the save data for the individual games. Does anybody know where I can find that data or is it just lost? It'd be a shame if it was lost. I don't think I could play the old street pass games again to get the last few tickets remaining.

Stolen 3ds help!

I recently had my 3ds XL stolen and it had a lot of data on it (themes, games/save data, etc.) and I have very little chance of ever getting it back. Is there any way to make a backup of the data remotely or to get the data remotely? I really don't want the person messing anything up in the chance that I do get it back but I also want to possibly transfer the data to a replacement 3ds. (Also if you have any tips of getting it back, please leave them below. It was stolen by a kid in my middle school.)

Error Code 009-2913

now, usually i buy hard copies of my game, so i've never really had to worry about this kind of thing before. however, the new ace attorney game, dual destinies, was download only, and from the start i was having issues with it. mind you, the other few times i downloaded something from the eshop went fine, the most recent being the patch for my pokemon x, which i downloaded not too long before this game. with dual destinies, though, i've always seemed to have problems downloading anything

 

after purchasing it, downloading the game itself took several tries over two or three days, and finally i got it after putting my system in sleep mode to do it. however, the game has dlc, which i can't seem to get. the one i've been trying to download is a free minor dlc, so i haven't been as concerned about it, but recently they added an extra bonus case to the game, which is gonna cost me, and though i really want to play it, i don't want to pay for something i can't even get.

 

everytime i try to download the dlc, it looks like it's going fine until it hits a certain percentage (it changes each time) and freezes for a long while before the error code 009-2913 pops up. i'm out of ideas and i'm really starting to get frustrated with this. like i said, i had no problems prior to this game, so i'm not sure if it's just the game itself giving me problems. (and i've checked with my other friends who have it and they've had absolutely no problems with it.) please help if you can, thank you!

Can't DL ACNL limited items at NZ or connect to attwifi.

I have a New 3DS XL Majora's Mask Edition. I have the latest firmware installed. I've tried to connect to NZ at my local McDonald's several times, but nothing works. It's the only place nearby that I have. I get streetpasses, but they don't always work. I get a drink or something there like daily to take the 3DS in. I get SPs about once every 5 days or so that way.

 

This McDonald's (and most of the others in the towns surrounding us) have 2 wifi services. One is "attwifi" and the other is "McDonald's Free Wifi". As soon as I go in I'm connected to the internet, but no NZ. If I go to my browser, all the pages load normally, no ToS pages will come up. If I set up a new connection for attwifi it won't get past the connection test. I cancel and go back to the browser and it's working normally again.

 

I've opened ACNL in there and gone to the post office but she tells me I've already received the limited item (the zodiac item). I also tried at a Best Buy in the next city over last week. When I opened the 3DS it said "Nintendo Zone services are available", but when I tried ACNL, it was the same thing.

 

Is there something I'm missing here? I tried going to google in my browser for ToS at each location.

Issue with 3DS SD card data transfer

I once took my standard 3DS 2GB SD card and exported its data, I don't exactly remember what happened then, but the data seemed, off, I didn't have access to most of my Streetpass data and some other data.

 

I then opted for a necessary upgrade to a 4GB SD card, because the 2GB SD card has so few blocks available due to formating.

 

I know, because after redownloading onto my 4GB the data from the 2GB, everything was wonky. Streetpass had errors the first time it launched, and things to that nature.

 

I proceeded to use this 4GB SD card for a long time, but Pokemon Y is a large game, so I decided I needed more space for my other Ambassador things which I've had to periodically re-install and uninstall over time, because of little data space available, along with future titles i want to download.

 

 

 

I bought myself a 16GB SD card, but when I exported the data from my 4GB to my computer, then onto the brand new 16GB card, I opened my 3ds to the surprise of all my old uninstalled Ambassador games, and the absence of my Pokemon Y, and several save data backlogs for my streetpass, and additional add-on save data.

 

 

 

Why did this happen if I did a straight export from my one SD card to a newer, bigger SD card?

I live in the US, and I want to buy my friend who lives in Canada a Ninendo eShop download game from the Nintendo website. I seen Nintendo said you could do that and give the target person the code you recieve in the email if you're buying gifts for others. Will it work even though we live in different countries? I know a lot of things between Canada and NA are connected besides eShop fund cards.

I recently just purchased the new VIP Streetpass Mii Plaza update with the intention of obtaining more plaza tickets. The prime (and honestly only) reason I purchased this was because of the new birthday collecting feature. Before you purchase this it literally says this: "If you manage to collect all 366 posible birthdays, you'll get LOADS of tickets. As many as in all the other games combined!"

 

...Well, there are a total of 88 possible plaza tickets from all the previous streetpass games, BUT collecting all the birthdays (as a friend just has using homepass) only rewards you with 22 plaza tickets. Now I'm not a math major but last time I checked, 22 is NOT more than 88.... not even **** close. Is this really how you treat customers by lying to them so they'll buy your products? This is disgusting nintendo.

Cannot download SSB4 patch 1.0.6

I have tried 9 different times now over the last 2 days.  9 times, with each time taking a minimum of 30 minutes.  I have tried downloading it from the eShop.  I have tried downloading it directly from opening the game.  I am getting tired of seeing the same error message.  When I Google to search if others are having problems, it pulls up 0 results.  When I post on various forums and ask if anyone knows what's going on, I get zero responses.  I am ready to put the 3DS back in it's case and return the **** thing at this point.  I'm about to try and download the patch now for the 10th time.  I'll post in roughly an hour when it fails, AGAIN.

Cannot taunt AT ALL in Smash for 3DS

Ok, so this happened a while back. One day I loaded up Smash on my 3DS, and I was missing HALF OF MY TROPHIES. I had about 600, but it didn't bug me as much as I thought it would. However, I went to For Glory, and all my online records were erased, without me deleting them. Not a big deal, I thought. But then I tried taunting. Instead of taunting, I ATTACK. In every game mode there is, even when connected to the Wii U version. I can't get taunting back either, as no one can edit the controls for the D-Pad. I'm now stuck without taunting, half of my trophies, and a clean online slate. I have a digital copy of the game. so I don't know if that had anything to do with it, but in any case, I was wondering if anyone can help me with this problem. Thanks for reading.

How to delete Pokemon shuffle on new 3DS XL??

I've been trying to uninstall Pokémon shuffle but every time I try and find where it's saved apparently it doesn't exist. I went to data management and selected Nintendo 3DS and it's not under software, extra data or downloadable content.  Where else could it be saved on the system?

3DS Themes Not loading upon system boot.

Apparently, the 3DS themes that I selected does not load when I turn on my New 3DS XL. Whenever I turn on my system, it will boot with the white theme (No theme) even though I turn it off with a theme on. I think it started after I downloaded Xenoblade Chronicles 3D on the eshop and a xenoblade theme.. Do anyone experiencing the same problem?
