If your able to do a system transfer to the New 3DS from your current 3DS, do I use the save back up for my downloaded games before transfering? I'm asking because I remember transfering my data from my old 3DS to my 3DS XL, and I had to redownload my games and I lost my saves.

I recently started a repair order. I had a specialist help me set this up. I checked my repair history and the information said that the color of the 3DS is red even though I said it was blue. Is this crucial? If so, how can I change it?

Master Key for new PIN does not work and is not expired.
On Saturday, I submit a request for a Master Key. After several hours of not hearing anything back, I submit a second request because I wasn't sure I put in the right email. This morning, however, I was emailed two Master Keys - one that was expired as of 9/28 even though I never recieved it until today, and the other expires tonight but does not work. I don't want to submit a third request for a key that won't work, especially since it charges .50 cents everytime I request one. I know that isn't a lot of money, but I haven't received a working Master Key yet. If I can't be helped here, is there a specific phone number I should call to get assistance?

Downloaded vs. Game card save
I recently misplaced my game card for Pokemon Y. I downloaded the game so I wouldn't lose it again, not realizing until afterwards that downloaded games don't work with save files from game cards, even if they're the exact same game. My questions are:
-Is this true? (I have not done any sort of system transfer)
-Can I put just the game on a different card without transferring anything else (either through system transfer or by deleting and re-downloading on another card)?
-If I delete the game, will that also delete the game card's save file? The game itself may be able to tell the difference, but I'm not sure other software can.
-Just a double-check: the save file will still work if I buy a replacement game card, right?

So I need to sell my 3DS XL but don't have a 3DS/XL to transfer to.
I'm really tight on money right now and I need to sell my 3DS XL. I have a buyer ready to go but I would like to keep the software on my SD card and my accounts (mii, eshop, ect.) then use them when I can afford to buy a new one (possibly the "new 3DS" when it comes out). What steps if any can I take in order to prepare my 3DS XL for my buyer and allow me to use the software on my SD card and my accounts on a future 3DS console?
I have no choice but to sell it at this point, I have a feeling I will be forced to lose some things because of Nintendo's policies (even though they should have everything stored online somewhere). So any help and advice is welcome.

Top Screen gone dark!
Hi, I was using my 3DS playing all good and all of a sudden the image of the top screen goes very dark, like if I had lowered a lot, the top screen's brightness all of sudden. It later went back to normal, but now it happened again and it won't appear bright again. I can see a bit the screen but is way too dark to actually be able to play it. The touch screen is working perfectly however. What should I do? Im really disappointed because everything was working all fine before and I did not drop it or anything.

Newbie: Wanting the new 3ds xl Japan release for my son
Hello-
This is my first post. This was recommended by a Nintendo Customer Service Rep.
For Christmas I am wanting to buy my son one of the new 3DS XL's that were just released in Japan.
But I have a few short questions.
Do I need to be concerned about the voltage/wattage difference with the power cord from Japan?
Also, where is the best place to purchase this item?
When I buy japanese games for it, or, when the system is downloading new content, or updates, will I have to pay for international phone connections for it to connect to the Japanese links?

If I format my 3DS, will I still be able to play software saved on an SD card?

Thanks to some genius from Nintendo who repaired my 3DS, I'm no longer able to use my NNID on it (Err. #022-2501) and I've come to the conclusion that I'm going to have to format my 3DS to fix the problem. I currently have Pokemon X and a few other titles saved to my SD Card, will I still be able to play them after I format my 3DS and possibly have to get a new NNID? Or will I have to purchase them again? Will I loose all my Miis?I also have some 3DS games on actual gamecards. Will I lose any data needed for those?

2DS pins in game slot are bent
My dog chewed a copy of Tomodachi Life and it bent the plastic slots that rise above the connecting pins on the game cartridge. It looked okay on initial inspection, so I inserted into the 2DS and then when I pulled it out, the plastic caught on some of the connecting pins inside the game slot and bent them slightly. It still works just fine, but I hear a slight scrape every time I pull a game out now and now I'm concerned that the 2DS might be scratching cartridges.
Anyone have any idea if and how I can open up the 2DS and straighten those pins?

I have a question about puzzle swap, can you help me?
Hi, I have one question about puzzle swap, recently I completed all the NA puzzles (1177 pieces) and all I can see in the puzzle swap game are the "see puzzles" and "quit" options. Yesterday I had a blue notification saying that a new puzzle was added, but nothing changed in puzzle swap. My question is, is there a new puzzle to be completed? or the notification was for one of the previous puzzles?, the last I've got was the Kirby/Dedede one... Thanks in advance for your answer. 3DS XL - 3D effect not working
I just bought a 3ds xl off of ebay, works great, except when using the 3D effect, it looks "doubled" and not 3d at all. like if u were in a 3d movie, and took your 3d glasses off. thats what it looks like. any help? and i dont wanna hear i shouldnt have used ebay, i would like honest advice. there also seems to be some liquid/rainbow effect in the screen.

3Ds turns off with *pop*, repair problems
Recently, my 3Ds has been turning itself off with a *pop* like noise every time I turn it on. I tried to send it to repairs, but when I checked the status, it said they were unable to procces my repair. Now it's being sent back to me. There was one time where it seemed to be working, only for the problem to come back. Anyone know why it got sent back, or what's wrong with my 3Ds?

Nintendo ID transfer... From a damaged 3ds
My old 3ds got damaged (the famous "makes a *pop* sound and refuces to turn on) and becouse i live in Dominican Republic, i can't send it for repairs. instead i magaed to get a new 3ds. my probblem is, i cant use transfer tool because i can't even turn on the old 3ds. so can my Nintendo id be "unbound" at request? so i can re-bind it to a new 3ds.

Circle pad replacement?
So, my 3ds's circle pad rubber has cracked and slipped off, I've been trying to find replacements online but all I could find were rubber slip-ons that go over the rubber.
Does anyone know how much it would cost to get a new rubber piece installed on the circle pad?

Can I buy a digital game now one one 3DS, and download it later on a different 3DS?
I want to buy one of the on sale virtual console games this week before the sale ends, but I'm going to be getting a new 3DS in a week. Is it possible for me to purchase a game now on my current 3DS, and then after I transfer my account to my new one, then download the game on the new 3DS? Or can I download it on this current one, and transfer the game with my account to the new one?
