I am buying myself the NES 3DS XL and giving my daughter my Pokemon XL cuz she wants it (the hinge on hers broke off). Now I want to know if I transfer my stuff to the NES 3DS XL, will I be able to, on the same day, transfer her stuff from her broken XL to the Pokemon one, or do I have to wait 7 days. Her birthday is 10 days after the NES 3DS XL comes out. And via the mail I won't get the new one until probably Wednesday at the earliest.

Lost my pokemon save file...
So I decided to give my 3DS to a friend so she could play pokemon X, I put a new SD card in it ( so she wouldn't overwrite my save file). Anyway I got it back today, took the new SD card off, and then repalced it with my old one, when I load the game a message shows ''the save data is not compatible with this version''. After taking some Xanax I did some research and found that I messed up and my save data is still there but is not usable. I get that. But my question is, what if I but a new Pokemon X game, can I use my original save file ? What if I change my 3DS ? I'm getting a little desperate here.

Nintendo 3DS & Wii U Error Code 001-0502 & 101-0502 Friends List Offline FIX
Hello,
I found a fix for the error codes 001-0502 and 101-0502 you get for Offline in Friend list and you might get it when trying to connect online for games like Pokemon X & Y. The fix I found after trying to change the DNS and DMZ stuff was creating a Guest Network on your router. So go into you router settings and choose to allow a Guest Network. Also make sure to choose something other than WPA2-PSK[AES] because that was what my main wireless SSID was and blocked me from online. The one I chose for Guest Network was the one under it called WPA-PSK[TKIP] + WPA2-PSK[AES] and used same password or key for my main but it let me 3ds and wii u go online. I hope this helps!

2DS pins in game slot are bent
My dog chewed a copy of Tomodachi Life and it bent the plastic slots that rise above the connecting pins on the game cartridge. It looked okay on initial inspection, so I inserted into the 2DS and then when I pulled it out, the plastic caught on some of the connecting pins inside the game slot and bent them slightly. It still works just fine, but I hear a slight scrape every time I pull a game out now and now I'm concerned that the 2DS might be scratching cartridges.
Anyone have any idea if and how I can open up the 2DS and straighten those pins?

SD Card and sudden shutdown issues.
Hi there,
Recently I have been having issues with my 3DS XL, I had it in a bag over the weekend, and when I got home I kept getting the error "Could not detect an SD Card. The software on the SD Card could not be displayed." It will not read the SD card, even after multiple restarts and making sure the SD card was clean and readable. It reads fine on my PC, but doesn't work in the DS. The 3DS will still play game cartriges, but won't read the SD card, and will occasionally crash completely. I'm not sure what I can do besides send it in for a repair. Help would be greatly appreciated.

Auto shut-off if battery is bumped
Recently my 3DS XL has started to die if I bump the back of the system on the right side. I've tried getting past the back plate, but the screw is too secure and has started to strip. I have never dropped the system, though I do tend to leave it on for a while when not in use. Can anyone help?

So I need to sell my 3DS XL but don't have a 3DS/XL to transfer to.
I'm really tight on money right now and I need to sell my 3DS XL. I have a buyer ready to go but I would like to keep the software on my SD card and my accounts (mii, eshop, ect.) then use them when I can afford to buy a new one (possibly the "new 3DS" when it comes out). What steps if any can I take in order to prepare my 3DS XL for my buyer and allow me to use the software on my SD card and my accounts on a future 3DS console?
I have no choice but to sell it at this point, I have a feeling I will be forced to lose some things because of Nintendo's policies (even though they should have everything stored online somewhere). So any help and advice is welcome.

No SD cards work for my 3ds
I may have a bum 3ds. For the last year, I've been trying different SD card: from micro sd cards, the ones thought that would supported by Nintendo like the Lexer Platinum 2, and NOW SD cards from Nintendo's own Online store. NONE OF THEM WORKS!!!!!! I've sent the system back for repair but they did not do anything. I JUST WANT TO EXPAND THE MEMORY!!!

[eShop HELP] Bought a game from the store...to find out my friend got me a physical copy!!

So in my excitement, I decided to get Smash for the 3DS from the store, but my friend later tells me that he actually got me a physical copy of the game....
I was wondering if Nintendo would be able to refund the money and take the game off my system or something so I can use the physical copy?
Or is that not possible.

Error Message When Connected to Internet: No Error Code
Right after getting Smash Brothers, I connected my 3DS to the internet and tried to download the update. However, my 3DS gave me an error message without a code and told me to restart the system. I've tried to get a system update and access the EShop as well, and I keep getting the same error message over and over again. I have been able to connect to the internet without problems in the past, and I've owned my 3DS since launch week. What can I do to fix this?

3DS Error Code!
Whenever I try to use the ESHop or mii verse I get the error code 022-2802 and it says my nintendo network id can't be used! I called nintendo and they didn't help at all! I'm want to jjut delete my id but when I go into nintendo network is he system setting, there is no delete button! It makes me VERY mad because I bought ESHop cards to get smash bros and I can't even get it!

Broken Circle Pad
So... when I first read this article, I thought it would never happen to me:

Well wouldn't you know it - I bought the game at the eShop shortly after midnight, played it for about an hour, and my circle pad broke off just like in those pictures.
I called Nintendo but was told they consider that damage and that it's not covered by the warranty. They want $130 for repairs... I could buy an entire 'nother 3DS XL for that price! That is just absurd!
I've bought almost every mainstream 3DS game released, with well over 30 games on my SD card... and Nintendo thanks me by charging me an arm and a leg to repair something that isn't even my fault? If it only happened to one person I'd understand, but lots of people in Japan have already had their circle pads break off due to poor hardware design, and it appears I'm now one of them.
Can anything be done? If Nintendo would offer to repair the circle pad under warranty, that would help...

firewall ports?
Hey so I'm in a college dorm.. what are the range of ports I need opened for the firewall to play super smash bros, pokemon, mario kart, animal crossing, etc? I contacted nintendo, but they don't have the port numbers.. on the site it says to open all the ports, but my college won't allow that for security reason.. so what ports should I tell my IT guys to open to play these games online. Or at least just smash bros for now. Please help, Any advice is welcome. No I don't have access to the router. That's the college's control. I had similar issues with my ps4 games but Sony told me the ports I needed to open, and IT helped me out.

Mii Plaza and Other Apps Broken after SD Card Copy
Hi,
I just tried to upgrade my vanilla 3DS's 2GB card to a brand new SanDisk 32GB card by using the instructions in the knowledge base. All files verified from the copy just fine, according to my PC.
But after upgrading, most of my download games seem fine, but Mii Plaza and YouTube so far crash with the black 'An error has occurred. Hold down the POWER Button...' error.
If this was an error with a download game, I'd just delete it and re-download from the eShop, but what can I do if Mii Plaza is broken?
I could try to go back to my original card, but I've run out of room on it with demos and eShop games and I'd rather keep my 32GB card.
I don't understand why following the instructions in the KB and copying the files 1:1 would do this, and it's not like SanDisk is an unknown in the flash memory market.

Super Smash Bros 3ds - 018-0516 error code, HELP
In SSB3DS, any type of game I try to play online I get the above error code. The error message on nintendos sport page says to make sure I'm connected to my router.. it's right next to me and my signal is really strong. Not sure if it has to do with port forwarding/nat issues (I have tho issues here at college in the dorms with my ps4) or if it is something on nintendos end. Any help?

Unable to create an online multiplayer room in SSB3DS??
I'm not sure why, but whenever I create a room it doesn't show up on my friends' lists of open game rooms. My other friends seem to be able to create the room just fine... I'm not sure what's up.
I got the update before I downloaded the game from the e-shop (I was one of the lucky few who was able to nab the software right before the serves got super busy ^^;) and all of my other settings seem to work. I can play in every other online mode just fine, but for some reason I can't actually "create" a room. Or, when I do, it doesn't show up for my friends. I don't have an error code or anything to search, so I'm not sure what to do...
help? ^^;
