I need help! every once in a while in the middle my game, The game will freeze up, the screen will turn black and a message pops up that reads something like "an error has occured. Please reset the console by holding the power button until it shuts off." is this a defective cartridge or a result of the new update?? What can I do?

3DS SD Card Question
So, like a lot of people, I wanted an SD card with more memory. At some point or another along the way, I managed to obtain 2 SD cards, one with 2GB and one with 4GB, and just today I bought myself a 32GB card ($14 with tax these days, not even joking =D).
Well, somehow or another, with the 2 SD cards I originally had (one came with the 3DS I think, and one I think I found later and randomly started using it because I wanted to download a couple games and couldn't with the 2GB one), I had quite a bit of save data accumulated... on both cards. Now, I want to add all of that data together onto the new 32GB card. Is this possible?
I'm VERY aware I can transfer the data. I've already done it. From the 4GB card to the 32GB card... That was simple. Can play the couple games I've downloaded that I purchased online, everything's good. Problem is, the 2GB card? It's got save data from various games, and it has the bulk important info for a lot of other games and programs... I need to *combine* this data onto the one 32GB card. COMBINE the data. There HAS to be a way to do this. It's not possible to just drag and drop it all into the 32 card, even if you do the "merge folders" thing, that doesn't work, the data still isn't accessible from the secondary SD card you tried to combine in. Is there a way I can go deeper into the folders and grab specific files -- I don't care if it's really complicated, I'm willing to do it -- I just really want all of my data onto one card now that I have a 32 =< And I wouldn't mind just reinstalling the games if I didn't already have some of them played a ways into the game... I'm really weird about keeping save data and stuff.
C'mon, there's gotta be something I can do. Even if it's a matter of going in and transferring, manually, each file one-by-one, I'll do it, I just want to confirm before I do it that that's how it's done.

3DS turns on, but when i close it, it turns off.
i didnt do anything, but now when ever i close it to put it into sleep mode, it just shuts right off. WHAT DO I DO!!!!!!!!

Old 3DS broke and I can't get my NNID onto my new one
So recently I bought a new 3DS because my old one broke, but I'm unable to link my new one to my Nintendo Network ID. Is there any way I can do so? I had a lot of Pokemon in my Pokebank and I really don't want to lose them. Thanks in advance.

Change Network ID.
Hi, I'm trying to change my ID.
I've contacted Nintendo but they completely ignored me. So maybe people here will help.
A year ago, my 3DS was broken.
The ID was something, I forget.
A friend gave me his spare 3DS and I really want to use my own ID. Not his.
I really don't wish to format my system, as that would be a serious issue. I got a game on there that was free, but no longer ... there.
I saved the full game to my SD card, so you'd think it would stay on, but I don't see that happening.
I there a way to log out?
"Delete Nintendo Network ID" > "I want to change my Nintendo NetWork ID" results in it saying "It is not possible to change your ID, gender, Date of Birth, or Region. For details, visit Support.Nintendo." Which I stated before, they ignored me.
"I want to Link a different Network ID" Doesn't work either. it says I need to format my system.
I can't ask my friend for his password and stuff, as I haven't seen him in a long time and I have no idea where he went.
Anyway I look at it... I don't know what to do.
I wish Nintendo, the creators of the 3DS, would assist me. But I can't rely on them.
So can someone here, help me?

Pokemon Bank displaying Trainer ID error
I have used the bank once on my digital Pokemon Omega Ruby, but then when I deleted the old save and opened a new one, I can neither use Pokemon Bank on my Pokemon X nor my Pokemon Omega Ruby, saying"You perviously used a different copy of Pokemon X, Pokemon Y, Pokemon Omega Ruby, or Pokemon Alpha Sapphire. Please try again using (trainer)'s Pokemon X, Pokemon Y, Pokemon Omega Ruby, or Pokemon Alpha Sapphire game (Trainer ID No. 41400)". Note also that apparently my Pokemon X and Pokemon Omega Ruby have different trainer ID, although both are owned by me.
I am aware that I should contact Nintendo support, but how and which form do I enter? Please help.

About Transferring data from one 3ds to another
I just bought a new Limited edition 3ds xl and it came with a game already installed on it. I want to transfer my games and things I bought on my regular 3ds to my xl but dont want to erase the game I paid extra money for...is this possible?

3DS Transfer from DSi to 3DS Problem!
So, I watched the turtorial video on how to transfer things from the DSi to the 3DS. I did everything it said for me to do, except my 3DS isn't letting me continue. When the two DS' are going to connect, it says "An error has occurred. Wireless communication is currently disabled. To use System Transfer, enable wireless communication and then try again." In the top left corner of my top screen, it says it is enabled. And just to check, I searched the manual and the internet settings, but I didn't see anything on wireless communication. On the side of my 3DS, I slid the wireless switch off so it was disabled. It told me "This function requires wireless communication to be enabled Please push the wireless switch to enable wireless communication." And I did so. I try the transfer again and it tells me the same wireless communication error... What do I do? Please help.

SD Card transfer issues
I am currently using an 8GB sd card for my 3ds, but I found out last night that I didn't have enough space on my system to download AlphaSapphire (I already have the $40 in my eShop account). I just bought a 32GB sd card so I would have plenty of space for new stuff. However, when I went to transfer my 8GB data to my computer's desktop, I recieved errors about how I was trying to move files to an undefined location, or that the files were unreadable. Even after trying on a different computer, I encountered the same problems, so I'm pretty sure that the problem is with the SD card. I'm afraid to try using windows repair on it, because if any data is lost, my entire library of games could be corrupted. Are there any solutions to transferring my games to the new SD card? I'm not really worried about losing save data, but I don't want to lose over two hundred dollars worth of games.

Repair Email Wait Time?
Hey, so I sent in a repair ticket two days ago, and never got an email on where to ship my 3DS XL to, so I called in customer support today and they basically gave me a new repair request ticket, and yet I still haven't recieved an email with shipping information, is there something I'm not doing right?

Spotpass notification won't go away
Kid Icarus Uprising has the blue spotpass notifican badge on it and it will not go away.
I've tried:
-Checking for gems (I have none)
-Checking every other screen in the game
-Disabling spotpass in the game
-Uninstalling and reinstalling the game
I just got a new 3DS (not because of this problem) and did a system transfer and the little blue badge is still there.
Under notifications from the 3DS homescreen, I don't have a single listing for Kid Icarus and it doesn't say I have any notifications pending.
I might have gotten one a while ago but it must have been pushed off of the list from newer notifications...
Is there anything I can do? Thanks.

Pokemon X won't read my save data ever "not compatible with this version"
So, this is a really sordid story. I've put in hundreds of hours of gameplay on my copy of Pokemon X. Solid team, I love my pokemon...
Buuuut, something odd happened. A crash in the middle of a local wireless trade deleted several pokemon from my team, pokemon that I really want back.
The thing is, I had a backup of a slightly older save from my SD card on my computer. I tried loading that onto the SD card.
Now, here's where things get worse. For reasons I don't understand, the files that were on the SD card after the failed trade were COMPLETELY DELETED from my computer. I can't find them. At all.
Now, I didn't know until now, but apparently there's some sort of system in place that corrupts Pokemon save data if it doesn't match some internal save checksum stored in 3DS system memory. So, now my save data will not load, and all support sites I've encountered claim it will never load again.
Is there anything I can do to force this older backup to work again? Windows is a pile of [expletive redacted] and I can't find the backup anywhere. I had eight hundred hours on my game (at the lowest estimate).
I was going to purchase ORAS tomorrow, but if the software is so broken that I could lose everything I ever had at the drop of a hat, I will not make any purchases from Nintendo in the future. If someone can help me convince my system to accept my older save data, that would be awesome. OR if someone could tell me how to recover permanently deleted files that were removed from an external device (meaning that windows didn't back it up and did not move it to the recycle bin), then that will let me at least recover the newer save file that was deleted entirely by the system for no good reason.

I need extreme help about connections
So, I can not connect wifi to my 3DS. I had it connected 3 days ago but now it wont. I deleted all connections and tried to find. It says there is one but it comes up blank with a lock and all bars. I am also always near the box. Please help me.

Are OR/AS Demo Codes still being distributed in the US?
I missed out on the earliest events, and I tried the Art Academy code but they didn't warn people that they were out of codes, so I didn't get one when I ordered it. Is there still a reliable method to get the code? I'm not near any of the 16 locations mentioned in the holiday event, so that's not possible for me.
Also, why does Nintendo alienate people like this? What's the point of having an exclusive hard-to-get demo?

Fantasy Life Online problem with Parental controls
Hi, i'm 19 and i can't play online in fantasy life because this stupid thing called ''"Child online privacy protection" c'mon, i bought my own console my own game and they treat me like child? It's like a scam that they doesn't let me play online for this thing -________-. It ask me my name, signature, mail to receive a code to unlock it... i had to send all that info and i'm waiting more than 6 days when they said that i have to wait between 24 and 48 hours. I hate this thing and i don't find any way to contact them because they don't answer my mails.

Can not do anything whatsoever
So I just recently went to gamestop to trade in my broken 3DS xl for a new one. I purchased the mario party bundle and happily returned home to continue my pokemon adventures. However while configuring my settings for the new 3ds I recieved this message "An error has occured. Hold down the POWER Button to turn off the power, then turn it on and try again." And so I did just that. I powered the 3ds back on and during configuration I skipped network settings and parental controls for I felt that this is what caused my error. However, after finally getting to the home screen the error popped up again and since then I havent been able to play my new 3ds for more than a minute ro so without it displaying the error code. What is the issue? I am a returning nintendo fan (last system was the gameboy) so I am somewhat new to the 3ds and this website but I play other consoles as well so I am not blatantly stupid.

Trouble battling friends ORAS
Whenever I try to start a battle with someone, after setting the rules and all that, when I click ok it tells me I can't participate. The "Special Pokemon: Permitted" is red and it says "You don't meet the conditions, so you cannot participate". When I select "info" it brings up two boxes on the top screen. Party pokemon says banned twice but doesn't say what is banned. Same thing with the battle box, but there is nothing in it. How do I fix this?
My party is:
Ferroseed, Lv. 32 @ Leftovers
Tyrantrum, Lv. 55 @ Leftovers
Swampert, Lv. 39 @ Nothing
Aegislash, Lv. 51 @ Nothing
Blaziken, Lv. 36 @ Blazikenite

If it matters, all these pokemon were traded over from pokemon Y.
