I tried to get the pokemon give way with no luck. I get can't find any gifts. The internet at mcdonalds is: McDonalds Free WiFi. I was hopping there is a way to find out which mcdonalds is a hot spot before running around the rest of NJ. The things I do for a mythical pokemon.

My original 3DS died after about 6 years of service. No more warranty and authorized repair center said it wasn´t "necessarry" to repair it
. So, they made all posible effort so i buy a new 3ds.
After 2 weeks struggle, bought a New 3DS XL as replacement, asked for "account transfer with a broken original 3ds" online.
The transfer is completed, i´ve got my account on the N3DSXL, and all works ok to that point.
However, my friend list, Street pass data and progress (puzzles, hats), digital game´s save data, virtual console´s save data, created Miis, all that is missing.
I´ve being reading that to transfer all this data, you need both systems, original and new 3ds systems, working in order to move all content, but my original 3ds is broken, won´t turn on, and local authorized center won´t repair it, so, is there another method to recover all progress data from my old 3ds/SD card?
Account and purchases are attached to my new 3ds now and working fine, but i would like to recover at least the friend list.

I have a Fire Emblem 3DS and I just recently bought the New Nintendo 3DS XL. I did the system transfer between the two systems and I deleted the SD card on the 3DS. When the transfer was over it deleted the contents of the 3DS but now I have a question about if the preinstalled Fire Emblem game is still on the 3DS or not? I want to resell the Fire Emblem 3DS but I want to make sure the game is still on there!

As the title states, I'm having problems with my 3DS working. It was working fine last night, but this morning this happened. I wanna guess maybe it's a lose connection in the system or something? Was just wondering what options I have and how much it'll probably cost me.
This happened a while ago but I'm just reporting it now.
Whenever I try to start my Alpha Sapphire (game card) game, it goes to the Nintendo 3DS logo, then goes to a black screen. It stays like that and never actually starts the game.
I can still view my Pokemon in the box in Pokemon Bank although I can't transfer them due to not buying a pass, but there's no way for me to erase the save data on the game card. Is there any way to be able to use the game card again?
Here's my issue. for some reason the tile that lets me go to the plaza gate to accept my street passes in greyed out and is inaccessible. I've tried to deactivate streetpass and turning it back on but no luck. However notifications from streetpass appears in the notification icon, when I tap on it noting happens yet the tile with the arrow to go to the gate is still greyed out. This frustrates me to no end being there's no solution. There has to be some method to correct this problem. I've searched all the forums, checked system updates and none work. Please offer some help with this i'll very much apprecate it!
When I attempt to download the free Monster Hunter 4 Ulimate Hunter's Weapon Gallery theme, it loads as if it's downloading, and where it should take me to a confirmation page to install, I instead get a pop-up that says "unable to obtain data" and that's it. It doesn't show up anyway despite the fact or anything. It just will not download. My system is up-to-date, and I can also download the OTHER free Sonic Boom theme, but not this one. Haven't tested with any paid themes.
Is this a universal thing or is there something wrong on my end?
I wanted to get one 10$ charge added onto my 3DS eshop but it did 2 charges of 10$ instead (20$ total) So is there a way for me to get 10 dollars back or do i just have to suck it up.
So I was really excited to hear about the McDonald's event of getting Hoopa for Pokemon X/Y/Alpha Sapphire/Omega Ruby, since I had just gotten my 3DS and AS last week. I told a coworker and she and I went there during lunch to get our Hoopas, and...I come to find out, after following the instructions, that Nintendo Zone is not working. How am I supposed to get this Pokemon, if the program I'm supposed to use to get it doesn't even work? My 3DS is completely updated, as is my friend's, and she was having the same problem. At home on my own WiFi I'm still getting the same message. What am I supposed to do?
For the past few years, I've been playing on my original model Nintendo 3DS which I got close to the time the 3DS was first released in North America. It's a great system and I've looked after it well, it's never failed me in terms of performance and still works great. Recently however, I've been considering an upgrade to the New Nintendo 3DS since it has been quite a while using my original 3DS.
The main issue I'm having is, since I've had my original 3DS for so long, I've completed a lot of Street-Pass acitivites, collected a lot of Street-Pass tags and puzzle pieces etc. and my Nintendo Network account is linked to this original 3DS system for eShop and Miiverse use. In getting the New Nintendo 3DS, is it possible to transfer ALL data over from my original 3DS? Including all the street pass progress, eShop licences and anything else I may have had on the system? Or would something, (if anything) need to be done over again or changed?

Hello. I've been playing Nintendo 3DS and 2DS for quite some time now. I have 2 3DS systems, one of which I plan to replace with a 2DS soon, so I can give it to my niece. The 3DS in question has a special use and is not my main 3DS. On the 3DS in question, I have online interaction blocked. In the settings there it says you can make exceptions for specific games, but I have yet to figure out how. It's starting to annoy me now, too, because although I do want to keep the setting the way it is, I have certain games where online interaction is becoming a necessity, mainly Tomodachi Life (as an Internet connection is required to receive letters from travellers. Can anyone give me instructions for flagging exceptions for online interaction? Thanks in advance for your help, guys!

So here's my problem, I recently moved out of the UK to go to France, and now the eshop of my N3DS is still in pounds but I would like it to be in euros so I don't have to pay for change every time I buy a game digitally.
Problem is a nintendo network ID is linked to the console (and registered in the UK) and I already bought games on it. So if I format my console I will be able to create a french NNID and go to the french eshop in euros but I won't be able to get my games back. And if I stay with the UK NNID, I will have to pay in pounds every time.
I only have one N3DS so in can't transfer my data from an english 3ds to a french one. Is there a way to do so or am I doomed?
I dropped 3ds in water and left in rice for a week it works but the screen is a bit funny looking so I bought a new one and I want to transfer but it does not register the sd card I put the sd card in the new one and it works so it's not the sd card that is the problem can someone help me I know both need sd cards in them to transfer I tried without but it says error

I was wondering if it is possible to merge two Nintendo Network ID's? I have a ton of purchases on both and would rather not lose either of them, but save files don't really matter much. I am able to access Miiverse with both of them, if that helps.
The first NNiD is named "Shnell" and it's an account that was lost when I traded in my Nintendo 3DSXL to a video game store. I had about 100 or so eShop titles on the account, and kind of wanted to recover most, if not all of them. I don't quite have the serial # for this one, so I guess that's what's stopping me from getting the account back...
The second NNiD is named "Hoppy-Shnell" and is my current account. It is currently being used on a New Nintendo 3DS. I have been using this one since January of this year, and I've made several purchases on it that I would rather not lose, including in-game DLC, several eShop titles, and themes from the Theme shop.
If needed, I can provide other information on either accounts.

I posted this in another forum, but figured I'd get a better response here, so hope you don't mind if I just copy and paste it.
"Note before I write this post, this has happened with 2 different 3DS XLs. Happened on one, exchanged it in, and it happens again on the other. Okay, so what happens is, I insert a game into the 3DS XL game slot, and I hear this sort of scratching sound, like its rubbing up against something. I fear this may be the cartidge "prongs" on the bottom scratching on something in the XL, but am hoping its just the back of the cartidge rubbing up on the inside of the game slot. Now, since this has happened on two different XLs I owned (doesn't happen on regular 3DS), I'm hoping this is prevalent on all or most XLs. Can anyone else say if this is happening to them also? And if it is just me, can someone hopefully reassure me that isn't harmful to the game or 3DS? Thank you.
I bought a copy of PSMD from Amazon (US) from where I live in Europe, because being the enthusiast I am I REALLY didn't feel like waiting an extra 3 months for the game to come out in Europe. Upon arrival I tried to play it with my 3DS but it wouldn't read the game, yes, the 3DS is European as well. I'm guessing that there is some region code that wasn't warned about before. I assumed there wasn't one because non-3D games from other regions did always work on my European 3DS, so my question is, was there indeed a region code or was it a damaged product? I already returned it in the meantime, but I would still like to know for future reference.
Still quite bummed that I wasn't able to play the game early, but live and learn I guess :/

Please help. I tried factory restore for my 3ds thinking that might help but it did not 
. It just says an error has occurred and to hold the power button down. I have also tried to reinstall the software download but that did not help either .

Everytime I turn on this 3DS XL, it will let me on the menu but if I try to go to any application, it will tell me that an error has occurred and to hold down the power button to power off. I can't go anywhere. HELP!
When I try to turn on my 3ds the blue light turns on,nothing happens for about 3 seconds,and then the bottom screen flashes and makes a loud "pop"and everything turns off.Does anyone know what this is or how to fix it?It has been exposed to cold conditions right before I found this if that helps in any way.
