Checking an M-Rated game for corruption with parent's permission
Hello,
An M-Rated game that my son downloaded, with my permission, on his 3DS is no longer starting.
After researching potential causes, it seems that the game is likely corrupted and needs to be fixed.
He said this was happening with a couple of other games that he downloaded... Pokemon Y and Luigi's Mansion.
I found a website that said to go into eshop and look through the history of downloads, choose the game, and then scroll down and choose Repair Software.
I was able to do that for Pokemon Y and Luigi's Mansion.
However, it won't let me click on the M-Rated game in the download history section. It gives an Age Restriction message.
I find that curious because we obviously have the game in our download history list... and the game is currently on the 3DS... and he was playing it... with my permission.
Is there any way I can get this very annoying age restriction removed? At the very least, it should ask my for my parental pin... after all, we didn't have any issues purchasing and downloading it... it should allow us to at least check for corruption.
Is this something that I will need to call Nintendo directly about?
Seems silly that he would potentially have to wait 2 more years before getting his corrupted game fixed...

How Do I Unlink A 3ds?
Hi guys. I had a 3ds awhile ago but I sold it for some money when I needed it. Now that I am in better times, I bought another 3ds but I can't unlink my original 3ds from my Club Nintendo account. I contacted Nintendo support via email but they haven't respondeed. How can I unlink a 3ds that I have no way of playing with again so I can link my new 3ds with my old Club Nintendo account?
I have to say, this is a really incovienent rule Nintendo has. What if you sell, lose or have your 3ds stolen? Having more than one system linked to an account is a common practice that other systmes and companies follow. I just don't understand why this would be an issue when there are legimate reasons why a person would have to do this.
If anyone can help me, I would appreciate it, thank you.

Bike Rider DX2 Galaxy- unable to access DLC shop
I downloaded this software and wanted to download a free stage as DLC, but the eShop login in-game fails, it loads until halfway through the progress bar and gives a generic error. My online functions are working perfectly outside of this game. I would like to know if it's indeed a widespread error from the software, which the developer might correct.

3D on my 3ds is messed up!
Hello everyone!I have a small problem.Super Smash Brothers 3ds is coming soon and I want to get used to using the 3D before the game releases. However to my shock the 3D is somehow screwed up. I was playing New Super Mario Bros. 2 today and tryed the 3D and it was not working right. I tryed the home menu 3D.......Nope. Tryed 3D on Tomodachi Life but nothing still. I tryed changing the brightness and the power-saving mode on the menu but no. I tryed going to the Nintendo help site today and looked at all the things that releated to my problem.NO WA-ok you get what I mean by now. I have tryed getting this to work all day. I love my 3ds because I have lots of games and I like the 3D whwn I use it. I want to get this to work again so I will stop freaking out.This is upsetting because I don't know wny this is happening. I have a strong case on my 3ds,I have a screen protect thing,I rarely drop the thing, and I only use the 3D on the 3ds like once a month.IF YOU WANT TO HELP:The problem is that the screen gets blurry when I put the system into 3D mode and shows everything double. So this is like watching a 3D movie without 3D glasses.PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help me because if it works I will thank you a million times over.Thanks in advance.

3DS Black Screen of Death 2013
Towards the end of April, I was playing Pokemon Black 2 on my 3DS. I closed the lid one night and let it sleep. Over the course of the night the battery died. I woke up the next morning and tried to turn it on. It turned on for a little but then died again because it didn't have enough juice. I plugged in the charger to let it charge, but it never fully came on again. When I turn it on, both of the backlights come on, the power light comes on, the charging light comes on, and the wifi light will come on. The 3D slider light does not. If I hold the power button, but screens turn on and the 3D light and displays the regualr "In Sleep Mode, the system can..." message. From this screen I can power off fully, but when I try to go to the Home screen, it lags indefinitely.
With my 3DS in this state I've been looking for solution, I found out about the system update screen where you turn the system on holding L, R, A and up. This worked fine, both of my screens turned on and I could update, if there was an update to update. I've waited months for the update that came out a few days ago hoping that this would fix my problem. It did not. I contacted NIntendo about this problem and they didn't know what to do with it either, finally teling me to send it in for 100 bucks to fix it.
My 3DS is a launch day Black 3DS with ambassador games and everything. Every 3DS with this specific problem I've read up on so far have been 3DS from that window with ambassador games and all which leads me to believe that it might have been a defect with that specific batch of 3DS's. I made this thread to see if anyone else had the same 3DS as me that has this problem and if ANYONE has found a fix for it yet that doesn't involve me giving Nintendo 100 more dollars after the 250 bucks I paid for it at launch. Please help guys. Thank you in advance.

Hey I just recently moved to Canada from the US. My 3DS and all my games are from the US and I went to buy a game from the eshop it wouldn't allow me to input a credit card from Canada. Is there a way for me to resolve this?

Transfer Games to Larger SD Card
I have a 16GB SD card that has some data on it already and I'm trying to add some new data from a 4GB SD card. I performed an SD card transfer as per the Nintendo support found here http://en-americas-support.nintendo.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/309/~/how-to-transfer-data-between-sd-cards, and yet when I put the 16GD SD card into my 3DS, the games from the 4GB SD card were nowhere to be found. What have I done wrong?

I entered the prepaid card code EXACTLY but it still wasn't recognized
I purchased a prepaid $20 eshop card never used beforefrom ebgames. I entered the 16 digit code exactly how it says on the back of the cardseveral times and it didn't work. All of the numbers on the back were perfectly clear.
I also purchased a game for my friend on the same recipt as the prepaid $20 eshop card, but she changed her mind and we immediately returned the game in exchange for another. Could that have something to do with it? Because I have no idea how else to fix this, and I don't know whether or not they'll accept returns since I already scratched off the code.

Can access internet but not eShop on 3DS XL
My 3DS XL is able to access all internet features (Spotpass, Miiverse, Browser, etc.) but cannot access the eShop, either though the main menu or in game (such as Fire Emblem: Awakening). When it starts it loads as normal, logs into my Nintendo ID, then gives me an error message (code 011-5533). This has gone on for quite some time now and I've tried about everything I can think of from restarting, resetting internet options, resetting the router, trying through games... only thing I haven't done is reformat or reset my ID because I don't want to lose that data if I don't have to. What should I do?

Control Stick Drift

RE: L button lost its click and is not responding.
I took my 3DS xl out of my pocket earlier today, and was playing pokemon Y. While maneuvering through the PC boxes, I pressed the L button and it did not click at all. I checked at the home screen and the button was not responding either. Is there a possible fix or do I have to send it in. (I still have a warranty.)
If I do have to send it in, will my 3ds be completely replaced? I have a limited edition X and Y xl and would be sad to see it replaced with a regular one.

Tomodachi Life Move In Version demo keys don't work
I recently purchased a physical copy of Tomodachi Life, which came with two demo ticket codes. Neither of the codes worked, and I had two different friends try them. Neither of them own the game or have tried the demo before. Is it possible to receive new keys, or do I have to suck it up? The numbers on the key look uneven, like there was a misprint.

Repairing my 3DS
I sent my 3DS in to be fixed and after Nintendo sent an email saying it can't be done, I was told a new one would be sent back. They didn't have anymore blue so I'm settling for pink. I check on the status of my repair as I do regularly but right now it says: "Unfortunately, there was a problem with your method of payment. In order to proceed, please click below to provide an alternative payment method or to have your equipment returned to you at no charge." but there was nothing click and when I called to set up the repair, I gave the man my card info and everything checked out. I even triple checked my account and I have enough to pay.
