Nintendo 3ds Transfer to an Ambassador System
i have two nintendo 3ds one is linked to my NNID while the other has no id linked to it. The one with no id linked to it has the ambassador status. i was wondering if i do a system transfer would the ambassador status be lost or would i be able to keep it and just merge everything. i wound mostly want to do this as i would like to upgrade one of my systems to a newer model
note:i was not the original owner of the ambassador system and do not have the password used for eshop or what use to be the club nintendo account but the system has not NNID so i was wondering if that made it okay

New 3DS XL can't download system update
I keep getting the message "An error has occurred. Unable to update. The system will now be restarted."
The issue isn't with my internet. I am able to use the 3DS to connect to the internet and play Smash Bros online but I just can't get the system update, which means I can't access the eShop either. I've tried restarting my modem and I've tried restarting the 3DS and just waiting a few hours. Nothing seems to work.

Black screen?
A few months after getting my 3ds, the screen went black and stays on a plain black screen whenever turned on. I could input the command to take to the update shortcut, but that's about it. If i hold the power button down for a bit, the sleep mode screen comes up. It is frustrating that this happened after having the thing for only a few months. If anyone can help or have any similar situations, i would really appreciate tips or advice.

Black screen?
After having my 3ds for a few months, i opened it up to find it stayed on a lit black screen. I couldn't do anything but bring up the sleep mode screen or the update shortcut. I have no idea what's going on and i'm hoping there is an easy fix before i pay for an expensive 3ds repair. Any advice/tips/input would really help.

Help changing the NNID of a system along with preinstalled games.
Hello, first post here, apologies in advance for any mistakes ><
Uhm so sometime ago I bought a Blue 3DS XL bundled with a preinstalled Mario Kart with my brother, and he got another 3DS afterwards. So now I am using the older 3DS but the system is currently logged into his NNID. There isn't any codes or whatever given in the box, the mario kart is in the system the first time I switched it on. Is it possible to change it to my NNID without losing the preinstalled game? I've searched around on the net and is still confused by all the different answer I've seen ><

Many problems with 3DS XL!
Okay, first let me explain, I just started playing my 3DS XL after one year of it laying dormant in my nightstand drawer.
The first thing I noticed when I went into Streetpass was that I got an error saying the SD couldn't be accessed for Spotpass, and I noticed for every streetpass I got, I couldn't collect puzzle pieces from people.
So here, I figured, "okay. Let's just forget everything and start new" because when I went into Data Management, it kept saying "there is no accessible software data." I figured my SD card was broken. So I popped in a new 8GB and formatted my system memory and wiped the slate clean. (I was not worried with losing everything anyway, after all, it had been a year since I played it).
Well, I'm still getting "there is no accesible software data" but, every other function is fine and I'm not getting errors with Streetpass anymore.
I glossed over it and decided to play my Pokemon X game. It's the cartridge, not from the eShop. In theory, my saved data should keep saving, right? Wrong...I keep getting dumped in the same spot over and over every time I play now, with no saving to speak of. I even tried to wipe the game file and start new, and once I got to a nice spot, closed the software and reopened it. Nope, no saving there either, it brought me back to the beginning, like I had never played the gam at all.
So, I'm wondering, are these related? Or is my Pokemon X broken? Or does my 3DS XL need a repair? Or a combo of both?
I'm tearing my hair out trying to figure out what is going on, and every time I search the keywords, it comes up with a system transfer thread. Keep in mind this is not one of those, nor have I tried to do a system transfer.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Puzzle Swap Missing From Streetpass Mii Plaza!
My brother recently checked his streetpass mii plaza and he could not enter puzzle swap. When he goes to select from find mii, puzzle swap, and the other streetpass games there is not even an icon for puzzle swap. Please help!

Time Issues
When Daylight Savings Time ended on November 1, I had to change my 3DS's time to adjust to this change. The only thing is, certain online functions are now disabled because I changed the time. For example, in Pokémon Shuffle, I can't play special stages. In Pokémon Rumble World, I can't call Miis at all. I don't know what to do about this, and I really want to enjoy my 3DS. I need help!

Error re: c button, ZR & LR
So recently randomly my C stick button stopped working, I tried recalibrating it and everything and it just will not respond. Also, in Smash bros, the ZR & ZL don't work anymore, therefore I cannot use any of my new amiibo. Please help

New 3DS XL Friendlist Issue
Hi there!
I recently(ish) transferred my data from a 3DS XL to a New 3DS XL back in August. Since then, I've been having friendlist and game issues.
I can add and remove friends just fine, but I can't see that people are online (When I know for a fact that they are).
This is also affecting my ability to play online Monster Hunter. My friends are unable to see that I am online, and I can't see that they are online.
If I plug in the room ID, I am able to play with them online, but I an unable to connect any other way. The same is in my friendlist. They are able to see me online, but I can't see them online.
I am able to access the e-shop just fine as well. There is no error code.
I've poked around the threads, and I've found a few suggestions:
Unplug and plug in the router. Does not work.
Change the DNS settings. Does not work.
Make sure that child internet restrictions are unlocked (in parental settings). These were unused, but I set them up and disabled this anyway. Did not work. (So I turned them off again.)
If anyone knows of a solid fix, that would be spectacular.

Streetpass not working for 3ds
recently, I tried to use streetpass for both my 3ds xl and the reg 3ds but the led for streetpass wont light up. not even getting a notice in the home meun.
I've checked all relating apps for streetpass and all are updated to latest version. I never had dropped or damaged my 3ds systems. the last streetpass was 8 months ago. I've had my 3ds xl since last christmas and my reg 3ds since 2011.

3ds not connecting to Internet
I use a public wifi and ever since I did the last system update, I can't connect to the internet. I have games that need to be updated and I can't connect to the Pokemon Bank and I can't visit the game shop. I'm sure there is another system update that I need but I can't connect to anything. I've tried changing the DNS entry as suggested in another forum but nothing works. Ever since I was forced to put the parental controls in at the last system update I did, I can't connect.
I don't know what else to do. Does anyone have suggestions? I'd like to access my Pokemon Bank again.

Lost my 3DS, don't know serial #, need to unlink account
Help, I just lost my 3DS and couldn't be able to find it. So I'm assuming it was already made off with it. What's worse is that I couldn't find the original box that comes with it and now I don't know the Serial Number. But I am desprate to get it unlinked so my account is secured. Because after all, my ID but not password, is still remembered on it.
Is there a way how I could get the account unlinked from the lost 3DS without the knowledge of the serial number?
What I know is that I can still access my same account on my Wii U. That's the only way how I can go to my Nintendo ID account.

transferring nintendo network id
A few weeks ago my 3ds was repaired but in the process the people who did it restored it completely, therefore I lost my nintendo network id (the people who did it, didn't even think twice about it, since nintendo network ids need to be transfered to another console) everytime I try to login in my nintendo network id it doesn't let me and it says it's because my id is already being used on another console. Which is'nt true because it's the same console just that it was restored.
What should I do to get it back completely?
It's really hard for me to contact nintendo support because I live in Costa Rica and international calls are expensive and my e-mails haven't been responded.
Is calling the only way I can use my nintendo network id on my 3ds again?

I Bought Bundle but My Region...
Hi all. I bought a new 3DS Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate bundle and created a new nnid. But I set Country as Turkey. Then I opened eShop and I could not find anything. I bought Pokemon Omega Ruby and I cannot even update the game. If I delete my account, will my Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate game deleted? Thank you for all of your answers.

3DS reformat/NNID link question
In a previous post i mentioned that my 3DS's top screen and hinge was broken
I was thinking, with my NNID being linked between my XL and Wii U, would i be able to reformat my XL, and relink it to my original 3DS afterward?
In that case what would happen to the data on my system outside of the Eshop? (though im unsure if any of this affects physical 3DS games if they save directly to the cartridge)
Would i be able to redownload anything or access saved data on my SD card or would everything be lost regardless of my NNID still being on my Wii U system?
If i send it in for repair (or transfer, preferably) im unsure of what would happen - im not exactly sure i have the funds for such a thing right now
if possible id rather go a route where i'd be able to keep all of my system/SD data intact - i'd rather not end up losing anything if possible

Transfering to a 3DS with a preloaded game
This is a bit of a hypothetical for a friend who is thinking about upgrading to a New 3DS if a suitable bundle pops up that he likes.
In the past Nintendo has had bundled systems that come with a game preloaded onto the system's SD card. I know they occasionally give download codes instead, but just bare with me.
How would this work if you were transfering from an different 3DS to the one that has the preloaded game? Would you lose the promised bundled game since you're overwriting the SD card with your previous system's data?
Thanks in advance! Any answers would help ease my friend's mind should he want to upgrade and comes across this problem.

Pokemon Alpha Sapphire Buzznav not showing updates
it's been more than a week and my buzznav it's not showing the updates icon, I need it in order to get to miracle island etc. I tried deactivating streetpass and enabling it again, disabling it for all the other games, going to different hotspots but the problem persists. I haven't changed the clock in any way and my system is running the latest update. Any ideas on how to fix this issue?
