Transfering to a 3DS with a preloaded game

This is a bit of a hypothetical for a friend who is thinking about upgrading to a New 3DS if a suitable bundle pops up that he likes.

 

In the past Nintendo has had bundled systems that come with a game preloaded onto the system's SD card. I know they occasionally give download codes instead, but just bare with me.

 

How would this work if you were transfering from an different 3DS to the one that has the preloaded game? Would you lose the promised bundled game since you're overwriting the SD card with your previous system's data?

 

Thanks in advance! Any answers would help ease my friend's mind should he want to upgrade and comes across this problem.

3DS has started freezing and crashing, can't update. Now I have to pay?

So as the title says, my 3Ds has started freezing and crashing. Now it's impossible to get it on long enough to try and update. Now when I got through the repair process it tells  me since warranty is expired I have to pay 85 bucks. Seriously?

Internet Browser Error but no error code?

I am using 3DS at a public place and my 3ds usually just connects fine as soon as I go to internet browser and click "Agree to Terms" to the public wifi spot. Today I tried doing the same thing and this is the message I get when connecting..

 

"The Internet Browser cannot be used at this time. Please check your network enviroment or try again later."

 

What does this mean? Is there something I am doing wrong? I am not tinkering around with any settings or anything. It has no error code and I have been searching for an answer on Nintendo, but to no avail.

 

Can someone please help me? I feel I am the only one recieving this error.

Cannont Connect to Eshop

The servers are up and I cannot connect to eshop. I keep getting Error Code: 007-2001. I really want to get Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon, so I just updated my 3ds to do so.

Bought Pokemon uper Mystery Dungeon yesterday put it in to play and crashes displaying "An error has occurred, forcing the software to close. The system will now restart.".  It kept happening, so I take it back to the store to exchange it and opened it up inthe store in front of customer service representatives and the exchanged game failed too.  Would not get store credit.  now that is two different games that failed in the 3ds and no it is no a dsi.  All other games work in it as I showed the customer service reps and sales clerk so it is not the game console which is up to date.  I hate to be out $40.00 dollars, if this happens no more Nintendo products for me. So what are my options

Corrupt SD Card

I'm having an issue with the SD card in my New 3DSXL.  When I power the New 3DSXL on I can see the OS try and load my Main Menu Theme, but then it goes back to the default Theme.  I also don't see any of the games that are supposed to be on the SD card and when I go into the eShop it says that the data is corrupt and needs to be reset.  I do have a backup of the SD Card that I took back in the summer and I was wondering if there's a way that I can use a combination of the files on the SD Card and my backup so that I don't loose any save progress, etc since my last backup?

Download of M rated games:e-shop

     I tried to download (or at least get more information) on the game Phoenix Wright: Ace Attourney-Dual Destinies, however I was denied due to the fact that I

am indeed, a minor. In that moment, I got together with my guardian and I told her about parental controls. She then gave me permission to download the game and she (along with me, due to the fact that she can't speak english) set up the parental controls so I would be able to download the game. When I tried once more to look at more info about the game on eshop, I was once again denied access. My question is: Is it completely impossible for a person whose Nintendo Network ID is that of a minor to download an M rated game? Thank you very much anyone who takes their time to read out and answer this question.

I got a New 3DS, and where is my ORAS save file? Can I use it?

Hi, so about a year ago I strated playing on my first ever console, a 3DSXL and I played Pokemon Y and got engaged with the games series, later Alpha Sapphire came out I was so eager to buy it I couldnt wait and I bought it digitally, thinking it was the same as the cartridge (Ive bought all other games in cartridge) and I was super happy. Until a few months ago (like 4 aprox.) I got this new cat, and she in the night got my 3DS to get into water (beacuse in my kitchen the sink is near where I inocently left my 3DS that night). So I didnt know until I got home (I go to college), and I literally was crying because I felt the shame of leaving the 3DS in that spot.

So eventually, I got my New 3DS (last week actually), and talke to Nintendo Support about my game, and a Mewtwo DCL, and got my NNID back with all my info. Now my concern is about my AS save file. I still have my old console (just in case) and Ive downloaded my Pokemon AS in the New 3DS, but I dont know if theres a way to get my save file back, with all the pokemon/achievements/event pokemon/etc.

Please help

And for the time being I'll be doing a new save, just to waste time

3ds flickers and turns off

When I try to turn on my 3ds the blue light turns on,nothing happens for about 3 seconds,and then the bottom screen flashes and makes a loud "pop"and everything turns off.Does anyone know what this is or how to fix it?It has been exposed to cold conditions right before I found this if that helps in any way.

Using New 3DS Faceplates from Other Regions?

I am from North America and purchased the Happy Home Designer + New 3DS bundle when it released. I have been interested in getting new faceplates for it, and I saw that Europe and Japan are getting cool-looking Super Mario Maker faceplates this week. Because it is rare for Nintendo to release physical products in America these days, I have been thinking about importing the faceplates from Europe or Japan. Are European and/or Japanese faceplates able to be used with the North American New 3DS? I would assume so, but you never know what Nintendo will region-lock.

Warrior's Way Mightiest Monarch hacked?

In the game Warrior's Way you can click VIEW RECORDS. Now click on RANKINGS and it will show you the top 20 rankings. At the bottom you can change from RANKINGS to MIGHTIEST MONARCH.

 

I have someone listed as Sunny  Germany  North Rhine-Westphalia 1,000,000,000

 

Isn't the max troops count 999,999,999?

 

Is my game bugging out? Is Sunny a cheater / hacker? Anyone else have this issue? Is there a way to delete this person?

Need help getting back pokemon

This character named Lol. Is staying offline and playing his game of OR/AS and not trading back my level 49 gengar that has my only mega stone to mega evolve it and every time I trade with him he won't give him back. I trained him since he was a ghastly. Plus I made it specific that I wanted to have it back. He did trade it back but he disconnected before I could have it back so now I have a alakazam I don't want. Please get it back. And

SD Card slot

I know this has been posted a hundred times before, but I've read tons of other posts and none of them have helped.

Whenever I turn on my 2DS, go to the e-store, or go to the main screen a message pops up that says, "Write-protection is enabled on the SD Card. The software on the SD Card cannot be displayed." I tried buying a new SD Card, I tried cleaning both SD Cards, I tried changing the partition, and nothing worked. Most of my games were downloaded, so they're on the SD Card. Please help!

transfer data from broken 2DS to new 3DS

Hi everyone,

 

My friend had a 2DS, and the screens cracked a while ago. For his birthday we got him a brand new 3DS (yay ).

 

Now we thought moving the SD Card was all he needed to do, but apparently to transfer all data he needs to do a transfer from the old unit to the new one. The 2DS still works but the screen is cracked and he can't see/do anything.

 

Can he still do a data transfer in another way?

N3DS c-stick not working in-game

Soo...

I was just playing triforce heroes when suddenly my c-stick (which I would rather it be referred to as the nub) wouldn't control the camera. However, it was fine using the d-pad. After that mission, it still didn't work. So I tried it on smash. Nothing. It works fine when I'm on my home screen, but not in-game. Is there anything that can fix that? I've turned it off and plugged it in for the night, hoping it will work again in the morning.

Can we expect more New 3DS faceplates?

I recall other regions have a lot more of a selection than here in NA. There was a wood grain one and a glow in the dark Boo set I was very interested in when the New 3DS was announced. However the Nintendo store selection seems to be very lacking in variety and I was wondering if we could expect more face plates soon? Thank you

Nintendo Badge arcade glitch

I was playing nintendo badge arcade and got 3 free plays with the practice catcher but my 3DS died after I went to play the real game. When I charged my 3DS my plays were gone and the practice catcher was closed! Can I get my plays back?

One game on 2 systems??

Hi!! I'm purchasing two 2ds systems for Christmas for my kids.  One is coming with the Mario Kart downloadable game and the other with yoshis new island digital download.  Will both kids be able to play the games or can I only put them on one system?  I was hoping they could both play Mario Kart together.  Or do I have purchase that game again for them to both be able to use it?  Thanks!!
